Mangalam Drugs and Organics And Ambika Cotton – Doublers !!!

Mangalam Drugs and Organics – Double In a Month

Mangalam yesterday doubled from recommended price. Its was trading at around 17 PE and around 105cr market cap which is still 0.5 times its trailing Sales. PE though at 17 is trailing and therefore, slightly misleading as with the company is expected to come with good bottomline, the PE would get reduced. Those who have missed the bus can think of entering at some consolidation. Congratulations to the investors.

Ambika Cotton – Double in Six months

I did not expect that it would double so soon given low beta, but it came into lime light when it caught fancy of big and reputed investors. This is a steady compounder with good dividend yield. Congratulations to the investors.

Thanks a lot Ace ji for discovering this Gem on time——although i had small holding in this but of course feeling happy—–hope it will improve the margin and bottom line along with topline growth of 20% as informed by MD Dhoot ji………will go long on this as it has huge potential——Thanks again for all ur effort!!!!!!!!!!

  6. Vishwanath says:

Phew!!!!! Ace what a day today! Almost 57 of 60 scripts in my watchlist was in red..some deep red. Wonder what’s in store tomorrow, Friday (thankfully not 13th).

    • need not worry… if one is nimble and stay with the trend there’s a lot of money to be made on both sides of the market. One should use trading to fuel investment and that’s how without any new money you make your investments grow.

      • SAY says:

        Spot on Ace.

      • Rainmaker says:

Dear Ace – can you please elaborate a little more on the use of trading part to fuel investment – it is something i am struggling with . eg i have invested in Prima plastic – the stock corrected heavily and mostly i will be a buyer again at below 50 level – but actually i could have sold it at 40% again and also be a buyer again . seems like a missed opportunity to me – same are many such cases. its more like how to manage the smart part on trading while maintaining the investment mindset – if you can share views , it will be good for us

        • how would you know that the stock is going to come down..what if prima had broken out convincingly and you had sold the stock at 70-75rs. but if you want trading ideas, i try to give it on my FB though lately i have been extremely busy with my own work but will try to see if i can give my views there.

  7. Nandita says:

Ace, what is ur view on Kellton tech and skm egg?

  8. shekhar says:

Sir, Your views on gulshan poly and indo borax. Both companies showing consistent growth and available at reasonable valuations

  9. STP says:

I think i am very unlucky… i end up choosing stocks which do not double.. prima.. vidhi.. sahyadri.. cybertech.. ace.. when will lady luck come on my side???:/

  10. PL says:

Invested in MD on Wednesday and tanked down yesterday😦

  11. Ramesh Patel says:

Ace sir, would like to know your valuable opinion on NIIT please…….

  12. sangram says:

Looks like after this correction garware wallropes is gonna rock. Adding it on dips:-) . do you think nifty will go below 7500 and so will it be wise adding stocks on every major decline or is there any structural change happening.

    • stocks, especially small caps hardly have any relevance to nifty levels.. we have so many examples…if you think something is worthy right now, you should take a dip

      • sangram says:

Ace bro I am adding garware, capital first, Gujarat themis, il&fs engineering, Pantaloon retail, Dion global, salzer electronics in small quantities because of limited resources. I know you don’t do portfolio management but just wanted to know anything that I can add to that list and anything that you are not comfortable with it.

        • your portfolio should comprise of your choices.

        • Rainmaker says:

Dear Sangram – can you share the logic of your investments – i too looked at Dion global – though the bigger story sounds good – i couldn’t get my grip on overall and did not invest – it will be good learning if you can share your views

  13. J Gopal says:

    Dear Ace,

Freshtrop Fruit…..where do you think it will get a support and fall will get arrested ?…..Even though i bought it for long term but the current fall is very severe and painful.

  14. Zubin says:

What would be a good level to average in Cytech, I am stuck some qty @ 70 levels😦.

    • Zubin says:

      REad Cytech as Cybertech

      • at present levels, its giving almost an yield of 4% which is more than post tax returns from a savings account of a large bank. you should average if you think the business is good. your tone sounds more of compulsion. you dont have to average if you are not convinced yourself. but as i said, the present levels are attractive enough

        • RAVI says:

L&T forms new unit for smart cities; expects business to reach $1 billion mark in three-four years was the news in Economics Times of Mumbai edition dated 10 june (epaper).
They are also up for acquisition. May be a good news for Cybertech and similar type of companies. Even L&T is looking at this opportunity with 1 Billion Dollar revenue in 3 to 4 years. This is only starting bro………..

  15. Roshan says:

Ace please share info on Gujarat themis…about lupin deal…no response from management

    • that’s why i said, till we get information from the company on the contours of the deal, lets not get overexcited about anything here

      • Vishwanath says:

Ace, in your review of Guj Themis result, you had said we may accumulate at every decline. Do we now wait till we get to know the outline of the Lupin deal? I am accumulating and believe its going to have similar run like our other find..MD.

        • that does not mean accumulate at every 2 rs decline…averaging should normally be done at significant % declines. also one should wait for some official confirmation on the size of lupin deal

      • Roshan says:

hmmm but when will they announce it

        • how can i say sir. as i said earlier i was told something should be out with the FY 15 results but that did not come.

          • Vishwanath says:

Thanks ace, will watch and take further plunge only after the picture gets clearer. Hope the downside from here would not be that sharp as the market cap is just around 50cr.

          • hafizul09 says:

Hello Ace ji……looks like management is not keeping their word here—–they told u that the Lupin order details will be published along with the FY15 result which has not happened as this is sending wrong signal to its investors’—-although I believe on them as high quality promoter but this act was not expected from them—–as this is a price sensitive order book details, they must have published along with FY15 result as per they promised to u ——–does this delay means that the size of the order is less than old order and publishing that order will make the share price crashing and due to that fear they did not publish the order details?

Viw on intellectual design, is it a god stock

  17. philip says:

Ace, I would be doing injustice to myself if I do not appreciate on your works. You are the first one who has come up with Ambika Cotton; that too when the price was really low. Why I mention only Ambika cotton is because of the fact that everyone is talking and discussing about this script these days. You even simply advice people other than matter directly regarding stocks. For eg; I have seen you advising people to refrain from MMB which is a wonderful advice. It needs a lot of hard work, experience, knowledge to find out a gem. But to disclose and personally recommend it to people like us needs character which is mixture of commitment, dedication, honesty and brave heart. Thank you for being nice.

  18. Puru says:

Just looking for other scrips also to catch the momentum.

  19. Sameer Anand says:

ACE since you are an expert on turnaround companies, do you think Panacea Biotech can successfully turnaround ? Is it a good bet at current price?

  20. NAGARAJAN T says:

HI SIR what is your view on spicejet

  21. Ra Da says:

Cupid also quoting at gr8 levels to buy…bought aggressively at 69..Whats your view on Cupid ace?

  22. Vishwanath says:

Ace, with many scripts you are tracking coming into great value buy zone, can we, your ardent followers, get a ‘bargain hunters delight’ list? It would make such a great treat to study, track and enter.

  23. Sameer Anand says:

ACE, at what price level would Mangalam become attractive again? Please guide. Currently I dont have any exposure to Mangalam.

    • sir, please take your own view because knowing the kind of messages you post when there’s volatility its difficult to advise. also, consider investing in large cap because your risk appetite is not fit for small caps.

  24. umesh says:

ace your view on rajasthan cyclinders there is a news on tv which says they have got an order of 300 crores from rajasthan govt . what is yr view on the stock

  25. cp says:

Sir ur Current opinion about freshtop fruit

  26. STP says:

Sir, although all my cash is blocked in the recommended stocks, from the knowledge view point, I want to know your take on some of the very reputed companies whose prices have corrected significantly over the past few weeks.. Like ITC, ICICI Bank, Sun Pharma, etc. Interestingly, Tata Steel has hit a 52 week low… Now we know that the book value of Tata Steel is more than double of its current price.. The P/E ratio is less than 5.. what is your take on it? Just want to know ur thought process as I cannot invest anyways in the absence of surplus cash..😛

  27. Jp says:

  33. SAY says:

Ace – lc in mangalam doesn’t seem to stop. Feels a bit uncomfortable.

  34. Vishwanath says:

Ace, any view on Gujarat foils? Has it come t a value buy zone?

  35. Sachin Jain says:

Dear Ace, Mangalam had crashed from 86 to 51 now, and is facing continuous fall in stock price.
Should one hold onto it or book profit. My purchase price is 29.

    • i dont give sell calls here. but well, i am not too worried about the stock to be honest. But again this is my personal view. This happens where there’s volatility. Noone was questioning the upmove but the downmove creates so many doubts. That’s the nature of price action.

  36. zendeel says:

Sir, kindly give your valuable opinion about DCW, CNI research and Lycos internet
