Waterbase and Mangalam – Price Update !!!

Congratulations to all the investors of Waterbase and Mangalam for multiplying their money by more than nine times and four times respectively.

Cupid added another one in the bag today, though as mentioned in the last update, after becoming 10 bagger i would give update only after a stock further appreciates by 50%. The reason being that after becoming ten bagger a mere ten percent upmove adds another one in the bag.

God Bless !!!

Toast to you Ace, it wouldn’t have been possible without your recco. Accept my sincere gratitude.
Mangalam occupies highest allocation in my concentrated folio.

  5. SP says:

Heart felt congratulations to your ability in finding the gems that turn out to be diamonds in future.. Honestly speaking it is quite mystifying to know that the recent recommendations which have just started the upmove might also become, say, a ten bagger tomorrow.. say Panyam trading at Rs. 570 or Pressman trading at Rs. 280..

Congratulations once again..! Keep up the good work 🙂

    Hi Ace,

I am a long term investor in DCB Bank. Recent corrections in its stock price due to major expansion plan is a good buying opportunity in your view? Or its a avoid for time being. Just want to know your opinion before deciding myself.

  9. RichDreamz says:

    Hi Ace,

What vision do you envisage for Cupid? 200 crore revenue in 2-3 years is an achievable target?
I do not want to ask questions on price target but want to get an idea on how big the company become in terms of the business, revenues etc.

What is your current thought process on the company.

Thanks for your time as always.

    • tell me what do you think and we can discuss it further. do you what are the its products and what new products it plans to lauch. the point which i am trying to understand is what is the basis of 200cr revenue that you are asking me…. why not 100 cr or 500cr. what does your research tells you…pls substantiate.

      • RichDreamz says:

        Hi Ace,

here you go some preliminary calculations as per company Annual report and corporate presentations:

Current male condoms capacity (approx) : 400 million (40 crore).
Current female condoms capacity 15 million (bound to increase, but let’s estimate conservatively).

(Revenue estimates as per 100% capacity)
(40 crore pieces *5 INR per piece) + (1.5 crore pieces *20 INR per piece) = 230 crore.

Assumed a male condom price realisation to be 5 INR per piece and female condom to be 20 INR per piece.

So, at 90% utilisation, we are roughly looking at 200 crore revenue. This was the basis for my questions. We cannot predict future, but based on the facts available now, we should be able to get some sense on the numbers and I greatly appreciate your view on this business so I reached out to you.

The lubricant that the company intends to launch is NOT built in above calculations. Can you please throw some light on the opportunity size and what revenue the company might target in its 1-2 years of operations.

        Disclosure: I hold Cupid.

        Appreciate your views now please.

        • what is the basis of 90% capacity utilization? this calculation is interestingly exactly same as some of the emails that i got..looks like it is being copied…. pls be careful with copyrights

          • RichDreamz says:

Not at all, this is my original thesis, I can point out to the forum where I have posted my views. If at all, others would have copied my thesis from that forum and emailed you which is a violation of my writing :-). Otherwise, it is purely coincidental. Also, assuming 90% is a fairly simple assumption as we cannot base numbers on 100% capacity utilisation. I could have assumed 80% also, but since it’s a fast growing company and small, I thought 90% is fair.

            • see, if something comes out as copied from another website no matter who wrote that its not allowed. no copying pls

              • RichDreamz says:

interesting logic. Posting ones own original text can also be called ‘copy’. Anyway, my sincere request, delete my above posts. Thanks.

              • since you would not be posting with a unique handle it is. hard fact of online life. or else you have to give source information which i cannot allow as reference to other websites/blog etc are not allowed here.

  13. Sampat says:

In this festive season, we want a 100 bagger from u ACE!!

    • abhijeet says:

Haha. . After some time it can be like just make our money 100 times ace. .:p

      • normally not-so-seasoned investors have such wishes… i firmly believe in looking at stocks that can go up 3-5 times in three years and this alone can change the life of investors over a period of time because getting 100 baggers is sometimes a stroke of luck and i firmly believe in making money a process because process once defined takes out uncertainties and thus becomes more predictable. Moreover its easier to get your 5 bagger in 2-3 yrs than 100 baggers..so no point incurring opportunity cost in looking for those 100 baggers.

        • sridhar says:

Well said Sir. Appreciate it. 3 Years 3 bagger without-caring of market moment isn’t great enough to become millionaire. 5 Bagger Awesome at-least once in a while to recover losses if any.

        • Vishwanath says:

Let’s also not forget that we are, after all, including Ace, only humans. Let’s not take/ask for a impossible targets even for fun sake.

  24. Emmbi Industries still under research, Ace?

  25. Ace, I have a question regarding Panyam. We foresee the development of infrastructure in the state and based on that we fix our views on the growth of the stock. Do we need to be wary of its competitors? Like NCL, for instance? Is Panyam’s political affiliation the key here? Or its operational excellence as well?
