Dear Ace : Though its a macro scenario looks like there is impending bear market with fuel price hitting all time high Indian stock market behaving like US markets with lots of volatility. Technically the charts looks week. Though good stocks are NIFTY agnostic but when there is a bear market every stock gets hammered.Your opinion please.
actually, my views are a little different. I believe bear markets do not hamper the stock prices (the kind of stocks i concentrate), only panic in markets does.

research the companies that you like. its possible that you may find great bargains. get into the best of stocks you like because in all likelihood most of the stocks would be a lot higher than before. this volatility happens almost every year so dont worry on it. just work on your conviction by reading and researching more on the stocks that you own.

dont worry about short term gyrations…..smallcaps have good volatility but if you are in good stocks then….there is tremedous upside potential too….unlike large caps…. small caps who fall 50% also have potential to move up 500% in quick time… so research more and that will give you confidence to tide over such volatile times.
