Results Update !!!

Sika Interplant

Very good results once again. The story is developing really well and thankfully, its still undiscovered. Further, this is one of the best angles for any MRO related steps that Govt. might take.

Prima Plastics

Decent results.

Garware Technical

Good results once gain. This one has been steady compounder.

God Bless !!!

    Hi Ace,
Could you please post a brief update about your take on what’s happening(slowdown affecting growth, manufacturing venture, etc.) at V2 Retail at this juncture? While we do get relevant info from CS as well as con calls, we would appreciate your valuable take/insights on the emerging pattern with respect to the business as well as the stock. Thanks in advance!

  2. Roshan says:

Sir ..what do u make out of prima ..? There has not been topline growth since a while now and profitability has gone for a toss

    • yes, the growth is elusive in the domestic markets for a while now. Let’s see if it changes.

      • Roshan says:

U reckon the topline is stagnant bcuz of our economy slowing down? If so then this must be a good time to add on right ?the increased finance cost bcuz of high short term borrowings and increased depreciation cost are hampering it’s profitability ..this could be a temporary thing though right till demand picks up

        • buying or selling is your own call. i just give my personal take here as per my limited understanding so please avoid asking me about your own investment related decisions.

          • Roshan says:

I didn’t ask you about buying ..just discussed about the company ..naturally if we are bullish on the stock and fundamentals remain intact then this would be a buying oppurtunity asking about the business first and how do u think it’s impacted

            • if anyone includes anything related to buying/selling/holding my reply unfortunately will be same so kindly refrain from doing that.

              • Roshan says:

Ok then can u reply me on the business now ..tell me your understanding of the situation please

              • see, i think more than their domestic business their overseas business has performed better but needless to say their domestic business has the potential to become big. given where we have crude right now, margin improvements is expected but let’s see how it all plays.

              • Roshan says:

hi ace i think margins are decent even now ..the big problem is lack of sales growth and the huge short term borrowings which they have to pay higher finance cost on and also the higher depreciation costs which are hitting its bottom line …

              • if you have read my original thesis was that their margins could rival that of neelkamal so from that perspective i feel a lot is desired but yes the sales growth especially in domestic market has not shown anything to feel proud of and with deterioration of balance sheet its been a slight disappointment but then again, that’s why its available at these valuations.

      • Roshan says:

Hi Ace just one final question regarding prima ..I feel that their presence in Cameroon can also become big and given that it’s plant over their is doing really good and with the connections they have and with no competition over there y don’t u feel that they can’t have a big bang expansion over there to take advantage of the prevailing conditions

Is there any update on the Govt’s steps towards MRO?

Earlier there was talk for 5% but nothing happened this budget.

Industry is broken mainly due to this is my understanding.

Is there some news on this happening anytime soon? (soon means 6 months to 1 year)

    • if you are referring to sika, i would like to emphasize that MRO would be a nice area of growth in future but that’s not the only thing. at the moment they are getting disproportionate growth in their main defence business… so one should not be majorly concerned with MRO developments on a day to day basis. I am not aware of any new developments in MRO taxes at the moment. pls keep a tab on various news sites to get yourself updated on any new news on MRO front pls.

    Dear Sir,
Kindly guide. Company name coral India. It’s promoter holding 74.37%. Remaining shares are mostly with retail investors. In last year share price fall from almost 100 to 13. Now they come up with open offer for 24.86 % shares @ Rs.17. What I understand that they will delist and those who do not tender the share in buyback will be traped. Is it like that sir. Kindly help to decode.

    Hi , Ace ,

Have you gone thru the latest results of AMTL. The Dec qtr results are pathetic. What could be the reason for the same. The losses for the 9 month period ending Dec have mounted to 9 crs and Revenue during the same period has collapsed to 23 crs , down from 77 crs from the previous years. Is it worthwhile to hold the co now ?

  7. Jitendra says:

Please update on results of AMTL, Spenta, Ram Informatics, Jaipan.

  8. nimesh gajra says:

Ace sir whats your take on AMTL, since company is posting heavy loss in Dec Quarter also, I thought that recent budget announcement of converting all meters into smart meters will lead to higher sales but it went in opposite direction

  9. Mohit says:

Your recommendations like Sankhya, jhs, amtl, Japan have ruined my portfolio, how do you feel about it.God Bless.

    • First things first – I do not recommend anything and everything i discuss here is based on my own little understanding of stocks and ofcourse they are personal opinions. sankhya went up 6 times jhs almost tripled, amtl is struggling but it had also doubled up almost immediately and japan…i dont know what you are talking about. so with god’s grace i feel good. but people like you would not see this. when stocks go up they think its their birth right and after going up multi-fold if they correct then they try to blame others for their own mistakes. This is a general sadistic attitude of people who do not want to learn and grow. Are you sleeping well after pinning your own mistakes on others? have you heard of other 10 baggers 20 baggers 35 baggers i gave my opinions on? God Bless you!!!

any view on invoice discounting investment like kredx?

  11. Roopak says:

What’s your view on V2Retail? Is it something you are still tracking or done and dusted from your tracking? Same query for Vidhi, DHP India and Katwa Udyog?
