A micro cap company that has grown fast but somehow, curiously, the price never moved and promoters kept on increasing stake by issuing warrants to themselves. Then comes a bit of price appreciation which suddenly is checked by a fire that cuts down the production of the company by 40% and obviously company reports a huge notional loss. The price tanks. Now suddenly at rock bottom prices, the stock starts its UC journey with pending orders of around 4-5% of company equity. Its clear something is cooking and predictably after the prices more than double there comes a fund raising announcement , either by an FPO or preferential issue. Ofcourse I am not suggesting anything, but just sharing a thought. Interesting things happen in the markets. God Bless !!

banking i like DCB but it has already moved up sharply…so take your own call on that…one should also look at NBFCs if evaluating banking as NBFCs give better returns, though banks are good as well..

From the responses you give to your followers and with regard to your reco which you dropped last week , I see you lay great emphasis on the quality of the management as much as their financials. going forward in this market the quality of the management will be a great diffrentiator in respect of Multi baggers and other stocks. you dropped Cupid cause you were not happy with the Mgmt. Have invested in Vidhi, Pressman and Prima which will hold till suggested otherwise.

started reading ray dalios “principles” and ive learned so much more than watching news channels. also, howard marks memos to his investors is a great source of how the biggies think about risk/uncertainty/the world.
i noticed that most biggies in India like raamdeo agarwal talk about past multibaggers and keep harping the same old story about there being so much money in stocks. they keep talking about multibagger returns even from now on without ever taking into account the possibility of a black swan event/ possibilities of other outlier events. mr rakesh jhunjhunwala comes on tv and says he expects sensex to touch 100000 in 15 years ??!! i find these statements to be very absurd honestly.
